Living and Working on Macquarie Island.

Learn what it’s like living and working in a small isolated community on the World Heritage listed Macquarie Island. For eighteen months, I worked as a seabird biologist and joint program leader for the Macquarie Island Albatross and Giant Petrel Program. Ever wondered what life is like in the sub-Antarctic for a field biologist helping to conserve some of Australia’s most threatened and magnificent seabirds? Book this presentation to find out!

Penguins of the Antarctic and Sub-Antarctic.

There is no doubt that penguins easily capture our fascination. Movies, documentaries and even television commercials depict these charismatic birds. But beyond their charm and appeal, penguins have unique adaptations and behaviours that enable them to thrive in the harshest of environments. This presentation will leave you amazed at the diversity of the southern hemisphere’s penguin species.
